If you want to go with the eye test - both Garnacho and Amad are more likely to win you a match right now than Marcus. Actually, Amad did exactly what Danny described - in the FA cup final last term and has arguably been Utd's player of the season so far... I believe Rashford is struggling with the psychology of becoming a 'senior' player. Being classed as a young player has far less pressures attached. He's now 27. Ashley young was faced with the same question under LVG and he stepped up and became a man. Some players are born 'senior' the likes of Mctominay or Bellingham, you see it in them. Some really struggle to transition from boy to man in thier 20s (likely something to do with lack of father figure) and this is something that needs to happen in the 20s if you're a footballer because the career span is so short. A lot of adult males (who aren't in football) have the luxury of finding their 'senior sense of responsibility' within themselves well into their 30s instead. Needs to happen faster for Marcus and someone at that toxic, terribly run club needs to recognise that they need to help him to make that transition, psychologically. He is fundamentally extremely talented and a very very good person, that is obvious. He just needs to be challenged to be a senior player. He needs some games as captain, he needs to go coach a youth team for a few sessions, things like that. Get him comfortable with the fact he is now an enforcer of standards and everything that comes with that.

Marcus Rashford deserves more respect than the quick-fire criticism he’s facing from so-called fans. His quality is undeniable, and he’s proven it time and again, even in an unsettled Manchester United side. Instead of tearing him down, supporters should back him and trust Ruben Amorim to bring out the best in him. Rashford has consistently shown loyalty and effort for the club despite the challenges around him, and with proper leadership and tactical support, he can be the game-changer we know he is. Let’s focus on building up our players, not tearing them down when the chips are down.

I think the mistake was Manutd.When you have young players at a big club you have to control them from exposure to a lot of money.Dont reward them with huge contracts.They just get wasted

as a man utd fan a small fortune is an understatement on 300k+ he should be doing better and he should be sold and alot of others to the ones that i would build a team around are ligt yoro martinez mazraoui ugarte mainoo amad garnacho and rasmus on bruno and dalot im 50/50

Players like Cristiano and Zlatan are world class because these guys were hated in the media everyday but endured that and excelled on the pitch. Rashford isn't world class because the negativity in the media gets to him, there's no self confidence and self assurance. He needs to shut the world out and focus on his football if he's got any chance to get back on track

Amorim should just cut contracts if he can't sell Rashford, Casemiro and Eriksen. Get rid any way he can, then rue the day players like McTominay left and just rebuild. Amorim should be allowed to rebuild and then face the consequences.
