I don’t completely trust a lot of people gearing up Tyson acting like he was going to smash Paul either. It was wishful thinking above logic. Many people actually knew it would go on it went. This “KZbinr” screen they hide behind is BS!! I’ve said for ages, Paul is training like a PROFESSIONAL, but picking BS fights. The one that wasn’t, against a pure training boxer OF FIGHTING AGE, he lost it, and the others are MMA fighters who can’t use the main tools they use, I.e kicking grappling etc. This is why no current champion boxers go the other way into MMA because they will be anihlated, it doesn’t come close. I’ll respect any fight against a boxer of genuine age. They’ll wait for Canelo to reach 50 first.

Mike shouldn’t have taken the fight. He must have known he couldn’t last when he was training? Surely they must have tried to spar 8 two minute rounds and realised he can’t do it physically. Yes he can STAND UP for 8 rounds. But that’s not what Mike promised us. He promised a fight and a ko. He has to have known that was an impossibility. I still love Mike and good luck to him making a lot of money. But I wouldn’t want to see him fight again. Not even against another legend his own age. Men of FIFTY EIGHT should not be in the ring taking headshots.
