Thank you for this tutorial, Sam!!! I have a unique gift for my brother's father-in-law, who is quite ill & probably celebrating his last Christmas this year. I wanted a special way to present it, but it's rather taller than most of the gift box tutorials I've seen will fit. So I think this will be perfect! He loves all sorts of puzzles, so I think the engineering aspect of this box will be great fun for him. I plan to try 12" tall cardstock for the base, just to add a little more height. Hopefully this will work! Thanks again, & I hope you have a very merry Christmas! :)

So lovely wow. The one with the strips reminded me of ribbon candy that you get at Chriatmas time. Not sure if yall have that in UK or China but we do have in the US. You out did ya self again lol thanks for lovely box and your time.
