Not ergonomisch for someone our size, your hips will start hurting on longer rides. An adventure bike is your best bet, how did the HD Panam feel? Groeten from the Netherlands, Transalp raised seat and handle bars, lowered pegs.
@BlissfulEllie9 ай бұрын
The panam was cool but my legs were in kinda cramped position on it, even with forward controls it’s an odd fit for me personally
@hondaryder37799 ай бұрын
@@BlissfulEllie The old Yamaha XT or CR 500 would be a good fit. But just accept that you will have to customise every ride you ever buy. My stove is on a crawler, just so i can fit my size 13' s under it, i got wooden pegs under my chairs.🤷🏼♂️ The world is build for average ppl, we have to personalise our shit! First time watching ya! I being a guy with a 30" inseam trying to fit certain bikes is not the easiest. May I suggest an Adventurer style bike like BMW R1200GS or V-Strom DL1000. Not saying they would be perfect but may suit you a little better. The Golden Wing is a beast though!!! Cheers and happy riding!

1000 pounds is pretty crazy. I use to ride Ninja 600 / GSXR 750 and they were 400+ pounds. Now I ride a crf250l and it's like 320 pounds. I want something lighter/faster.

@scubarider19 ай бұрын
@@BlissfulEllie No big deal though. I was just more concerned with maybe running over a piece of ground that was to soft underneath, like gopher holes and the wheels sinking in. When a 920 pound motorcycle gets a little Squirrley they can definitely get away from you. You definitely nailed it though. Great job! Personally, I’ve done quite a bit of off-roading on my Goldwings. I take it you’ve already had the chance to ride the GL1800! I’m glad you enjoyed riding that awesome machine. They are definitely second to none. Take care and keep the rubber side down! 🏍️
