The premise is nothing like smart guy, the pilot episode is just an episode that smart guy did! But every single sitcom with children as the main characters does a homework episode! Cosbys, home improvement, full house, family matters, Roseanne!!

The more I watched the more I see this show had a powerful message and Hollywood don't like powerful black images or messages. Same thing happened to Sinbad's sitcom, Roc, and a few others that didn't get picked up for a long period of time.

I love this channel so much. I am and always have been an avid TV viewer. However, I apparently missed a lot of Black TV shows from the 80s and 90s. I have watched so many great pilots and cancelled too soon series. The casts of all of the shows on this channel are terrific. Thank you, Rare Gems for the nostalgia and for bringing Black Excellence to the forefront.

I read this was canceled after 3 episodes that sucks because it looks pretty good Anna who plays the mom also played Dee on the Wayne’s Bros probably wouldn’t have happened if she were still tied to this show so everything happens for a reason. The same goes for the rest of the cast who were part of successful projects
