Ah! I hit my growth spurt right before I turned 15 after I finally hit puberty late. It all happened at once and I was 5'1" and then I was 5'9" all in about a year. I was so excited it FINALLY HAPPENED!!! 14 was a hard year for me, I was extremely skinny and short. I was convinced my body hated me and heard lots of jokes about being in a girl trapped in a 9 year old boy's body. Turned out I actually have a very nice body, it just does everything on it's own schedule.

To Miss Squeaky... Never even try to change that laugh, You hold on & be proud of it. All we hear is How happy & truely tickled you are & if anything we are jealous. When I was young I had someone point & laugh "at my laugh" - it broke my laugh! (I think that is what broke Squeakers' squeaker in Toy Story) To this day I am considered humorless because I cannot laugh at almost Nothing. I see Funny I just do not laugh, Ever. OK after 30 Year of Marriage, maybe a little one has popped out once or twice. And I can see my wife likes it or at least enjoys seeing me laugh at something. @Valkyrie Same thing happen with guys. At 6'6", little guys flocked around me for protection I suppose. If anyone wanted to try to start a fight it would be some other short guy. That "Little Man, Big Man" syndrome was always never too far away. Fortunately, us big guys are good guys generally speaking, otherwise someone would have shot us before now. BTW short girls are cute and tall girls are beautiful. That's why short girls get upset. I have dated girls from 5' 1" to 6' 2" with ideal being 6ft even. There is just more territory on a tall girl. They are amazing if they know how to use it.

I knew a kid who had shot up to 6'6" while his family was stationed in South Korea. He was extremely shy to begin with and being so noticeable about killed him. At least he had dark hair. My other friend who was 6'4" and both he and his daughter have white blonde hair and ice blue eyes. They used to have crowds follow them and touch them while they were in China.
