Ah! I hit my growth spurt right before I turned 15 after I finally hit puberty late. It all happened at once and I was 5'1" and then I was 5'9" all in about a year. I was so excited it FINALLY HAPPENED!!! 14 was a hard year for me, I was extremely skinny and short. I was convinced my body hated me and heard lots of jokes about being in a girl trapped in a 9 year old boy's body. Turned out I actually have a very nice body, it just does everything on it's own schedule.

@but why What is the average height for women from where you're from? I'm 6'3.5" and if I wear my running shoes I'm 6'5"! Everyone always looks at my shoes to see if I'm wearing high heels. I always get Wow! You're tall! Do you play basketball?? I just say when I was younger I did. Sometimes if I'm not in the mood I'll reply back with Wow! You're short! Do you play miniature golf?? (Heard that over 15 years ago and loved that reply)!

To Miss Squeaky... Never even try to change that laugh, You hold on & be proud of it. All we hear is How happy & truely tickled you are & if anything we are jealous. When I was young I had someone point & laugh "at my laugh" - it broke my laugh! (I think that is what broke Squeakers' squeaker in Toy Story) To this day I am considered humorless because I cannot laugh at almost Nothing. I see Funny I just do not laugh, Ever. OK after 30 Year of Marriage, maybe a little one has popped out once or twice. And I can see my wife likes it or at least enjoys seeing me laugh at something. Do not let anyone take that away from you. And Please pass this on to your kids. Laughing makes it even funnier, & Funner.

Well, yeah, having to ask people to reach stuff for us, having to stand on chairs to do that, having trouble hugging tall loved ones, clothes either being too loose (enough to trip on them or swallow us!) or too tight (so we are showing way too much skin trying not to do that!), etc., is not fun! Your daughter has a point- we do have our annoyances indeed!

@Valkyrie Same thing happen with guys. At 6'6", little guys flocked around me for protection I suppose. If anyone wanted to try to start a fight it would be some other short guy. That "Little Man, Big Man" syndrome was always never too far away. Fortunately, us big guys are good guys generally speaking, otherwise someone would have shot us before now. BTW short girls are cute and tall girls are beautiful. That's why short girls get upset. I have dated girls from 5' 1" to 6' 2" with ideal being 6ft even. There is just more territory on a tall girl. They are amazing if they know how to use it.

I would NEVER go to a comedy show if I sounded like I was literally coming unhinged. Lol. Wow.

Rheinhart Silvento Nah that was horrendous, maybe hearing it once or twice is a nice novelty, but a whole show, poor comedian

Lol it's kinda economically unfair too because we need more food and water and any kind of transport is less comfortable, especially when you fly and you have a limit of size/weight for your luggage and you know your shoes and clothes are so much bigger 😂
