Great video! I'm impressed by your shots. I have a few questions, in a few weeks I will make the same voyage to Cabo Verde and I'll take my drone with me (phantom 3 professional). How did the drone fly in this windy environment? and how did you launch and catch it from the vessel? (any crashes?) thanks! Marco

+marcowerf38 Hi Marco. The phantom really impressed my with its ability to shoot good stable footage in some vey gusty conditions. The winds off shore were more stable. There is plenty of room to launch from the aft deck, however its aways a risky operation flying from a moving ship. Remember RTH is of no use. Ive flown from many yachts and motor boats since far smaller and without incident. But I always launch accepting the risk, if anything goes wrong, its gone. The crew were awesome. If Martin is the Skipper say Matt says hi. My best piece of advice. Return home with plenty of battery. Landing in windy conditions can take a few minutes especially on a swell with a moving ship. Its tricky. I always adopted a launch by hand and retrieve by hand method. Have a great trip. You are in for a great time.
