Great challenge, but the machines could have been more stable if you put a bearing so that the top, by command, could rotate forward and backward a certain degree to compensate for instabilty. Make sure to add lots of weight on the top!

Hey a little advise, I don't have a channel but you should try saying "like & subscribe" sooner in the vid. Kan, i have the best idea you can have. make two cars one that is a AI follower like your police van (you were making in stream) and other a car that is RC controlled by a seat on AI. you sit on AI car and control the car in front and you will follow it as AI follower is on the car you are controlling
