It was back in 1999 when Ingo Kunzi aka Dj Tandu released on his brilliant label Unsubmissive Records the very successful track Velvet. Ingo is very well known with his Ayla pseudonym and the semi-titled eternal classic Ayla. Fast-forward in 2023 and Talla 2XLC collaborates with DJ Tandu for the fantastic rework of Velvet. The Talla 2XLC remix is truly psy uplifting futuristic festivals ready version. With sharp psy tech trance basslines, punchy kicks and energetic percussion the track builds slowly momentum until the hints of the unforgettable divine melody is slowly revealed as we reach the long and atmospheric breakdown. With respect to the original track the suspense and intrigue remains intact on Talla’s remix. Full of mesmerizing whistle like humming birds synthy melodies, variety of synthy plucks and classical orchestral music influences the beat strikes back for the full on hands in the air climax with the euphoric feel good summery melody doing the damage supported by melancholic piano chords and highly energetic basslines.
