Not sure if you saw, but I did end up changing the whistle scream. I can do it, but I'm not practiced enough to do it within the context of a song. I think I'll probably upload a small clip of me hitting it though. And Shaken has replaced Overconfidence as my favorite Tallah song, so I had to! I think I'm also going to do For The Recognition, and then give myself the rest of the album to just enjoy for now. Learning these songs so quickly fatigues me on them a bit, so I'm definitely looking forward to just listening and enjoying haha

@@TrevorTeichertWG dude, do not even sweat it! When we perform this song live, I usually just go into a wicked high, nasally fry scream to get as close as possible. Whistle fry is REALLY hard in a one-take context, especially if the song is not the first song in your set list. Once your vocal cords get a little dry, that is that. Whistle fry is super dangerous in a live setting anyway, so switching to a whistle-tone pig squeal was a really smart choice!

Dear god this cover absolutely fucks. the chorus does things to me that cannot be described by human-concieved words and metaphors. I genuinly think that this is your best work yet, both in terms of matching, or exceeding the artist, come back to this later, as well as demonstration of your own unique set of skills as well as your creativity in overcoming challanging elements that require to be tweaked from the original performance to shine in full colours when performed by you. Bravo! this song was my favourite release by tallah since the EP, which i consider its own thing and evaluate all 5 songs in it as parts of a whole that is not meant to be disected, the reason that i found this song so compelling is somewhat bittersweet, as it and the recent Lorna Shore album made me realise that I personally do not enjoy heavier styles and genres of metal as I do something closer to Shaken, and this song also helped me come to terms with it. The semi clean, semi raspy chorus, as I have mentioned, does things to me that I can't describe. When Justin released his onetake vocal cover of the song, i couldnt help but feel a little disappointed about it, and now i realise why, as it seemed to (at least to me) focus on expositioning the heavy and crazy difficult harsh vocals, while leaving the semi clean chorus in the background. for those reasons, as much as it pains me to say so, I love your cover even more than justin's for how well you were able to exposition both aspects of the song and depict them as equally important for the overall beauty of the song. i will definately be relistening to this for many months to come, thank you.

This cover is awesome. You killed it my dude. How do you do it with such ease? I have been doing fry scream for about two years and I have this problem were I can't do a lot of screaming without my voice loosing distortion and just sounding like I'm groaning and needing to rest for a few seconds. I don't know if its breathing that's the problem, but I can not do deathcore songs at all. Any advice from you would be very much appreciated.
