I'm sure the civil engineers in normal developers look really deep into how safe it is to build such a tower before they invest so much money into it

Great idea. Sea levels are rising and the ground in south Florida cannot sustain much more development. Don't cry in 5-10 years when the building collapses.

Precisely why they are building in Brickell and not the beach. 😅

Cool. But so many people are already working from home. I used to work in these fancy buildings. Don't miss it.

@@floridaroadways I’m Cuban lol if they had a Cuban coach the dolphins would win every game. Bec Cubans take their coaching seriously, just look at the Cuban boxing gyms and the baseball training. They’re passionate and not just that back in the days Cuba used to have a football team in the university of Havana. The only reason why ch and right now suck in baseball and other stuff is because they can’t go pro and they aren’t well feed and most of the coaches are old.

I'm so happy about this. I've been keeping an eye on this building for nearly 10 years! It was previously called One Bayfront Plaza. We need more office towers downtown before the condo developers eat up all the space. A financial center requires commercial skyscrapers. Otherwise, South Florida will be continuously overlooked.
@thedirtybubble9613
@thedirtybubble9613 Жыл бұрын
Precisely. Not enough commercial skyscrapers and too many condo towers. I don't know what the city was thinking when they said "Hey lets get people over here but have absolutely NO jobs or industry". What a concept. Only in Miami.

@@thedirtybubble9613 that's because money talks, bs walks over here. People dont get that they keep developing housing for the RICH not the Low, hard working middle class. 😂 If you live or can even afford these rents, you are most likely living off Daddy's money, family inheritance, or are self made, no need for corporate jobs. ALSO, as of 2020, most corporations are sizing down and not building billion dollar offices for people who can easily work from home in today's world. 😅

And they have done nothing for traffic. That entire neighborhood is completely gridlocked with traffic. Too many buildings and in the middle of it all there is a bridge that goes up several times a day and disrupts traffic even more. It's a nightmare. It's the number one complaint of the area. What are they going to do about it? You can't drive anywhere.

Florida can’t geologically handle the stresses of a grand edifice. It’s all marsh land and mushy foundations. Not a good idea. If that thing starts leaning and tilting after 5 or 10 years or less, they’ll see it was not a prudent decision
