The woman at 07:00 looks like she is performing whilst she needs to go to the toilet really bad! Love your channel guys, saw your travels in the Netherlands and been following you ever since. The Baltic states are really awesome, all tiny but brave countries. When you go further south to Poland, make sure you visit Krakow, We visited this city last summer, and it is single-handedly the most awesome medieval city centre in Europe. And that comes from a guy that lives in Utrecht, the 2nd most awesome medieval city centre ;). Enjoy!

Loving your adventures. I did many of the same trips in the late 80's and 90's. I was in Tallinn 3 months after the Russians left and they got their independence, so it's great to see how things have changed in all the cities you visit. It's great to see the progress in Estonia, the people there were really welcoming and everything was dirt cheap then, but I guess it's become more touristy and affluent since.

Only spent 4 nights in total across the Baltics but I fell in love with them. I'm aiming to go back to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius and spending at least a week in each. So affordable, interesting and diverse places.

@InfraMusicify6 жыл бұрын
The smokey smell from those old houses 8:00 is because Estonians didn't have chimneys. It is because of cold winters etc. People were living in smoke, most of them suffered from early blindness.. but you got to do what you go to do to keep your family warm during -20 degrees of Celsius winters.

Those potato balls are called in Western Europe pommes noisettes we ate these for school dinners in England in the seventies.
@dragonmac12347 жыл бұрын
I remember there was a lot of liver and boiled cabbage in the school dinners we had in the 70's. Although we did also have chocolate pudding with chocolate custard, so it wasn't all bad :-)
@lynnecurtis36307 жыл бұрын
Mark Caswell I used to love liver and onion and cabbage, I hated custard and swapped my pudding for a main. My favourite was minced beef and onion mmmmm
@dannywestwood41137 жыл бұрын
Lynne Curtis Pommes noisettes for school dinner? What sort of school did you go to??? I went to a fairly decent school until 1975 and the food there was so disgusting that I brought in a packed lunch, or went out and bought something to eat.

Thanks for the info! They were delicious 👌

Lynne Curtis You liked Liver and cabbage for school dinners I literally died the day we had that stuff! Do not remember pommes noisettes (did they really call them that in England?) but i went to school late 80s- 90s.

The centre of Tallin is not completely original, when I was there several times in 1999 / 2000 it was being completely renovated and was one huge building site, best pace was The Wolf's Breath bar were they served the best draught Guinness I like they way you guys take a good mouthfull of food when you are tasting something for the first time, too many people fart around by only tasting a minute sample that wouldn't feed a goldfish.

Did not show any of tremendous colourful old Tallinn at all, mostly showing off yourselves chomping on food.. And some minibits of views and old houses. You are really that obsessed with yourselves? Waiting for an hour to show off typical crêpes, while lots of authentic Tallinn cafes and restaurants are out there.. Tallin is a world heritage site.. This video is obviously not..

Why do Americans have to chew with their mouths open? Nearly every video that has Americans eating, they open their mouths when chewing.
@Theendlessadventure7 жыл бұрын
We don't usually chew with our mouths open (pet peeve of mine actually), but it's tough in a vlog or a social setting where you're always talking when the camera's out 👍 - Eric
@hhuu17047 жыл бұрын
I see what you mean when I watch other vloggers, but it's not solely an American thing. Chewing with mouth open (and slurping) is common in Asian countries too...and probably in other non-European cultures. Those habits are not considered rude at all.
@solatiumz7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your reply. I had never noticed it before on one of your videos, and I had been watching lots of "americans try....." videos.
@solatiumz7 жыл бұрын
@hh - I guess that I would expect westerners to be better "mannered" in the UK we are taught at school how to hold our cutlery and are repeatedly told off if we "eat with our mouths open" which often lead to some smart alec saying "how do I get my food in if I can't open my mouth?" lol.
@hhuu17047 жыл бұрын
That's a funny comeback. I can only speak from my experience in American public schools, and we definitely didn't have dining etiquette education. That would be interesting if we did. But I guess it also depends on one's individual upbringing...my mother is from Central America, but she taught us not to chew with our mouth open..whereas my Asian father unashamedly chews like a cow.
