Southern Railway 154 cosmetically altered to resemble long gone sister engine Tallulah Falls 78 while leading a mixed freight. Originally Southern Railway 202, the engine was sold in 1946 to the 58-mile shortline in north Georgia known as the Tallulah Falls Railroad and became their No. 78.
154 is a G class 2-8-0 Consolidation-type steam locomotive. She was built in 1890 by the Schenectady Locomotive Works (ALCo) for the Southern Railway and retired in 1953.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Tallulah Falls 78's 'resurrection'.
