You guys surely do find some of the most beautiful waterfalls! Loved that swing bridge. Very comprehensive, spoken with much knowledge of the area. Looks like the family had an enjoyable day!

The Gorge is near where I lived for 20 plus years. It's a beautiful place and you've done a great job on this video ! Near there is also Toccoa Falls, worth the time, very tall with quite a history as told in the book "Dam break in Georgia " I was a land surveyor in that area and have explored north Georgia a lot in my younger years. I got to experience a number of waterfalls on private land, most of which were rarely seen by other people. I now am retired and have been a fulltime nomad for 3 years now, I love the lifestyle !!
@CampTravelExplore3 жыл бұрын
Thank You Duane for the kind words! We wanted to swing in and see Toccoa Falls but because it is on a campus, their website said it was closed for anyone not staying on campus! (Covid) Bummer, but we will hit it on our next trip up! Thanks for supporting the channel!

We took our son here to see the eclipse a few years ago, awesome park. The staircase was intense. My favorite thing I learned was the epic scene from the movie deliverance was filmed at the final waterfall at the bottom of the gorge. Love your filming style here, I always pick up some good tips to make campground reviews better. Larry

Do you need the permit (100 permits) to go to the suspension bridge? or is it just to get on the actual gorge floor? We are looking to go to the suspension bridge.
