Tallulah Falls is a beautiful place to visit but that hike is a doozy😵💫!!! I've experienced that facial glistening too Derrick and I doubt I'll make that trek again😅. We enjoyed watching the video although our leaves aren't nearly as pretty as NC this time of the year.🍂🍁

@Rebecca-wm3jr We had actually thought about riding over to Brasstown Bald that same day, where the altitude is higher and I think the leaves would have been nice. But we just ran out of time. But it was still a beautiful hike down to the bridge. And yes, coming back up was quite tough. I guess I did break quite a sweat coming up those steps.

I seen the gorge a few years ago in the first of June and thought it was great. We also seen Anna Ruby falls and bc it had rained, it was flowing and beautiful. Next, I’d like to see Amicalola falls.

@DaniRay358 I've heard those are beautiful falls. We did do Anna Ruby, a couple of years back. We really enjoyed it.

Trailhead Steak and Trout House in Townsend burned to the ground early this morning. It was a total loss. I know you all ate there not too long ago and enjoyed it. But yeah.. unfortunately it’s gone.

@MrKnoxguy101 Yes, we posted the news of that early this morning on our Facebook page. It was heartbreaking to see it.

Have y'all been up on black rock mountain, that's my favorite state park in that area.
@NCMemoryMakers28 күн бұрын
@davewhite113 We have not been there yet, but did see the signs for it. That will be a good idea for a future video.

I heard on my local news that 55 miles of the Blue Ridge Park is open. Grandfather mountain is open also.
@NCMemoryMakers28 күн бұрын
@markisb3585 Yes, that is correct. Several sections of the North Carolina Blue Ridge Parkway have reopened. We will be updating everyone on that, hopefully tomorrow.

@NCMemoryMakers. Ok. That's good. Hopefully that will help more people visit western nc.
