There is a small difference between cancel voucher entry and insert voucher entry in tally ERP 9. When you delete any tally voucher from the daybook then that particular voucher permanently deletes from tally and your invoice number also changed. But when you cancel a voucher, that voucher does not permanently delete and tally mark this particular voucher as canceled hence invoice number does not change. Where if you want to insert a new voucher entry in between to vouchers then you can use the insert voucher command in Tally.

Insert voucher and Cancel voucher are two different things and can not be compared. You may compare (Delete Voucher & Cancel Voucher) to take out a voucher from the database, or (Insert Voucher and Add Voucher) to bring a voucher into the data base. So, you should explain the subtle difference between them. In this video, these seem to be mixed up and got confused. Can you explain difference between Insert Voucher and Add Voucher ?
