There was video for & but it was canceled, but all of the photos were planned for the music video were uploaded before it got canceled with led to this (source: a mix of me scrolling through Twitter and that one explaining Tally Hall in 13 minutes video)

Great question! I believe the current D&D ampersand was created in 2014, a year after this, but using a Dragon as the ampersand has existed a long, long time. However, no one submitted that! I don't listen to Tally Hall that much (even though I did obsess over Miracle Musical while I was finishing my Master's) and life's just different. I'm happier than I was back then.
