Who cares if it's hardware-accurate? 8 bit/Chiptune is a genre, not a rulebook. As long as all the sounds are designed in a fitting way or a way that works there's nothing wrong with that imo. Besides, it's really well done.

hey I know it's been 4 years but if you see this I would appreciate it a lot if you were somehow able to upload this on newgrounds, I'm currently making a level in the game "Geometry Dash" using Turn the Lights Off as the song and since the game uses newgrounds to get its songs I need a replacement for it, unfortunately there aren't any good covers on newgrounds for the song but I think this would work perfectly.
