Hi Talon, glad to see you were able to hit a small part of ID. It’s a truly beautiful state! We relocated to Boise from NW, NJ in ‘96. A couple of fun facts you may not have been aware of...a couple of years ago our Gov. helped to pass a new gun law, allowing both open and concealed carry with no license. If someone wants to they can go through the class and requirements to get their Enhanced Carry Permit, which allows reciprocity in around 30 or so states. Lastly, again we live in a truly beautiful state. It’s clean, we have low crime, good schools (contrary to what’s reported) and for the most part, good people. That’s why we’re seeing a large migration of Californians to the Boise area. I wonder why they’re leaving CA for ID?? Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness has led them here, mainly due to the failed policies of their elected leadership. They hopefully remember why they felt they had to leave. Happy Thanksgiving!!

@TalonSei4 жыл бұрын
No but that’s a great game
@martylucas85574 жыл бұрын
Nick, you’re the only one that washes chicken prior to cooking, because it’s “never” a good idea to do it!! You’re correct in assuming that raw chicken is often teeming with bacteria, such as campylobacter or salmonella, however washing it with water does nothing to combat them, in fact it does wash away some of the flavor. In fact, washing your chicken actually worsens the problem, mainly due to cross contamination from splashing water. Cooking will kill any of the bad bacteria. Washing your hands after handling chicken is the only kind of rinsing that should take place with chicken. It didn’t look as though Talon rinsed the chicken prior to throwing it in the pot. Which is good, because it would be pretty awful to get really sick in the middle of nowhere by himself!

@martylucas85574 жыл бұрын
Ron, seriously! If you and I were thinking about that as we’re watching the beautiful videography, I’m sure the majority of subs that watch Stuff and Things has also. Ha! I kept expecting to see Ashley jump out from the side of the van or take over the cooking, or... However, you’re right about there being a big gap in the story. If we’re following Talon’s travels and exploits and are used to updates and follow up of the mundane stuff, it really makes you wonder what the heck is going on when a rather important character in the story...is totally not mentioned, at all!
