If the engine is ex-military, they'll definitely level you before you level them. Douglas, Trecwn and St. Cadfan fall under that so... best not to mess with them. They might still have an Enfield rifle in their toolboxes if needed.

Well, since you've also done the Skarloey Railway engines, why not go down the roster of the branch line engines. Wellsworth, Ffarquhar, and The Little Western. Hell, maybe even the Bluebell Railway engines too

Imagine if the Denver And Rio Grande railroad met the Tal-y-llyn railroads they both got some pretty big hitters such as the 20 and Douglas not to mention the Tal-y-llyn has more experience but the rio grande has bigger and more powerful engines but they aren’t as taken care of as the tal-y-llyn’s due to limitations and several of them are in museums spanning the railroad not in service but they have been in a ton of situations such as getting the entire DNRG-W stuck on top of a mountain in a snow storm for several DAYS and I recommend the book Little Engines big men if you want to know more
