I picked one of these up as a practice kit to bring to jam sessions. One bag for the drums in one hand, hardware in the other hand, and I’m ready. Setup is about 10 minutes total. This kit is very punchy and I was very surprised of the tone of the toms. It’s so great. Just get it. For around $400, you can’t go wrong.

This thing is going to sound so good with an emad. Coated heads Top and bottom of toms. Definitely need to mic the floor Tom with a kick drum mic lol

I've had a gig in 2020 (yeah, I did!) and transported my kit (20" kick, 14" ft, 10" tt) stacked inside. That was brilliant for transport, but the problem was that I had to put the drumheads off and on again. So I thought about a solution like this. Tama is ahead of every other drum company again!

Btw I hope Tama will make this concept kit with bigger shells (e.g. mentioned 20", 14" and 10") for rock oriented styles. It would be incredible if the drumkit took away only 1 spot off your car instead of 3...

My trouble is the lack of use of this kit. Love the video though! Also troubling is how long it’s taking for it to be in stock! Preordered mine in December 2020, now it’s april 21!

DW is too open sounding for me. I like the Clicky Tama bass drums. They have so much more depth and body and can actually have a real band with a name attached to it. Deftones, Police etc...

The rack tom is deeper than the floor tom? Asinine! Who the hell would use a 12×6 floor tom anyway? You can't get a deep enough tone. 12×6 is a second rack tom, not a floor tom. 👎🏽
