I've been told that keyholing only occurs on cymbals that move around a lot, and since hihats are lighter and don't sway as much, they don't keyhole often.

Love this! I've always had issues with the bottom nut constantly coming loose.. during shows.. during band practice.. I also tried the type of clutches with a built in tightener bolt. Would work a bit longer, but eventually those too would come loose. For me these are game changers. These never come loose! Never going back to old style. Never!! Addmittedly I play another companies' drums.. But your hardware overall is top notch. Just wish you would come out with a rack set up.

When you're setting up for a show with 4 other bands on the bill.. speed matters... In whatever way you can achieve it. Plus these are just more reliable.
