@@medallion39 i have never tried the DW snare with the MAG throw off. but i can say that this new Tama strainer is great, imo.

@medallion39 it sounds great, I love it. I put a diecast top hoop on it, but left the stock bottom hoop and I much prefer that combo. But yes the new strainer is great. I'm very picky about strainers, I love the linear strainer, but this is very good too, especially at this price point. It sounds better in real life than any of the videos show I find.
