From what I remember, omelettes can be fed to your pet three times per omelette and since they are a daily freebie, they are extremely cheap to buy if you look around using the shop wizard. Pizzas can feed more per item but they are harder to come by. Enjoy this tip from someone who played Neopets most of his life until a few years ago.

you can get free food at jelly world (only accessible through the URL, not on the map) and clicking on the big jelly, or tyrannia and clicking on the giant omlet. it's a better source of food, because jellies are 2 foods and omlets are 3, plus they're free

Actually, the Value Score still works. It really determines how much points you can get in the least amount of time possible, and *then* you calculate how much NP you get from it. You are still getting the exactly the same NP proportional to all the other games, because if a minigame gives a lot of NP compared to the others, after it goes down, all others will have also gone down with the same proportional ratio. Which means that minigames with a Value Score of 5/5 will always get you more NP than a minigame with a Value Score of 1/5. Hope that makes sense and I explained myself well.
