HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEK!!! I’m glad you adopted the “Summer” terminology for this summer’s releases XD Hearing you talk about summer made me realize that summer is officially over (and I will be decorating for Christmas in less than two weeks 😂) Truthfully, I have so much FOMO over the NYC Comicon. It looks like it was a great time! I’m thinking about it for next year, but I’m not a crowd person; when I think NYC, all I think is crowds lol. So it’s very TBD lol I was fortunate enough to go to the Detroit Tamagotchi Club’s first meet up! It was a blast! Unfortunately Detroit is just a little too far for me to regularly attend, but it was such a good experience. Their club organizer and members are amazing. I’m very excited for new shells because… clear plastic! 🍃🍂🍁 (P.S. love the new hair color!)

I'm super excited for this release and a potential Devilgotchi and really any new vintages coming back (Ocean, Forest, etc). Being an older collector myself and seeing other fellow collectors that are older makes me feel way less weird about being so obsessed with vpets and I hope you have a very happy birthday. I also am so excited that Bandai has been like "hey you want stuff?" cause you really deserve it. Also, take your breaks. I hate getting all serious on a Tamagotchi video but I also know aging feels worse as a woman because of how our worth is tied to youthfulness but it's so important for women our age and older to be there and show younger girls that you don't just stop living cause you've hit 30, 40, 50, 60, really any age. I know people wanna roll their eyes when Taylor Swift is mentioned but girl is turning 35 soon headlining a record breaking (back breaking, too) world tour. My grandma also would say getting old can be scary but it sure as heck beats the alternative. Have fun. Celebrate, it's a big deal! As seen by the Tamagotchi community age doesn't stop anyone from enjoying the hobby. Sorry to just get weird here but I have had my own fears of aging myself so it definitely hits close to home ❤

I have been thinking a lot about discussing aging and how you can keep enjoying the things you love on this channel. You're right, we do need to show the younger people that you don't stop living as you get older. Also over the last year I've really grown to respect Taylor for what she does and what I imagine she will keep doing even as she gets older. I actually filmed a bit of a vlog about my thoughts and feelings about aging that I'm debating on posting. Doesn't exactly fit in with my channel, but I want it to be a little something more than just Tamagotchis. I want it to be inspiring for people

😮 I hadn't seen the Barnes & Noble shell leaks, those look so amazing! I hope we see those eventually... maybe not too soon because I've bought a lot of Tama's already this year! 😅 I know what you mean about the Tama meet-up groups being a bit far away, it's 3 hours for me to travel to Toronto so I haven't gone to any yet. We have a new group that popped up last month that's closer so hopefully I can get out to that one. I can't believe how fast the community is growing, it's so cool. The tamagotchi ocean was released in the US after the Angel. So i feel like if there was going to be a gen 4 that’s what it would be. But a monster was is also likely because of the uni release. They were also planning to release a Garden before they would have released a monster in the 90s. I hope they release an ocean, forest and monster 🥰

🍁I'm so excited for the Tamagotchi Angel! I saw they went up for preorder on Amazon US so I nabbed myself a gold shell. Fingers crossed though that a Canadian retailer will have them up for preorder soon so I can cancel the US import and just buy local (those import fees even from the US are a killer). Also hoping the next announcement from Bandai will be a remake of the Tamagotchi Devil. While I have both the original Angel and Devil (my Devilgotch is the black shell one and I replaced the screws with new modern ones so they would no longer break) from the 90s and I love those devices, I'd still like to get re-releases of both!
