You have a fortune with the tamagotchi keychain figures at 15:04, they’re actually made to coincide with the first anime series which was wrapping up at that time (pretty sure they’re from 2012), that’s why they have himespetchi (who is more well known in the dream town era) because she was introduced around that time, along with kizunatchi (the light pink flying character with the hearts). The anime in it of itself is a great show… If you know Japanese because we only have a VERY small amount of dub episodes (more were dubbed but unaired) and the show is not subbed sadly. But it’s a fun series, and it has some cool merch to collect too (like some figures and replicas of items from the show)

@@djm334-goomodding I didn’t realize they were made for the anime series! I lived in Hong Kong when the show aired and it was dubbed in Cantonese, so I’ve watched most of it and can confirm it is the cutest show ever 🥹🫶🏼

@ Oh nice! I saw the TVB dub on YT back then, I remember they also aired a second dub in ViuTV I liked a lot more because it simply sounded better (+ HD version). Also the anime does have a lot of merch, it’s really obscure but it appears frequently in Japanese second hand sites, sucks most of the replica toys especially don’t have much documentation (like videos) nowadays. They were so cool for the time

I was surprised to find out how high the price went up for a V6! I'd like to have all 6 of them because they did have a lot of content. For example, the matchmaker greeting you with a mating partner, or using the secret shop codes to collect the rare items. I remembering my parents buying me one from Toys R Us. It was the red candy version. (V1)

The V6s are expensive indeed! There are no Japanese version V6s so they are quite rare.

I was surprised to see how inflated the prices for all variations have become. My v4 is almost $80 and I have 4 ON's, which in total is about $800. It is not worth it at that price, who's buying this lol

I totally encourage it!! These toys will hold value too because they are so loved by many - so if you regret your purchases in the future, reselling to collectors will get you your money back! Doesn’t hurt at all to try collecting 💗

Thank you so much for showing your collection again. You got me into Tamagotchis as I never had the chance to have one throughout my childhood, and they seemed so cute and unique to miss the chance to experience one! So far I have a Tamagotchi Mix, and a Tamagotchi Pix Party. I had a Smart but eventually sold it, as well as a second Mix but sold it as well to fund another hobby of mine. I am currently waiting for my first Tamagotchi Meets to arrive in the mail, and I hope that I can continue building a collection even if small.

You have given me the motivation to start up my V5 again. In the country I am from V5 NEVER released and it was round a period of my life I was absolutely obsessed with tamagotchis. I bought one when I first turend 18 but the content didnt really alignb with what I thought it would be hahah. Ill give it another try almost 5 years later

The V5 sure is very different! It's not like the OG gameplay where you raise the one pet per generation. I think it has it's charm! But definitely not my favourite.

I only have one tamagotchi friends [Pink hearts] from when I was a kid, in Belgium I feel like they didn't bring out a lot of them which makes me sad cause I love them so much. Now that I am older I'd love to buy some new once to bring back nostalgia. I really like the tamagotchi smart since it has the tamasma cards which I think is a super fun idea to put some sort of DLC into a tamagotchi. I didn't know what Buyee was yet so it really helps! I hope I can start collecting them soon! P.S. I also hope my tamagotchi friends still works cause I haven't tried yet, It's brand new though since I didn't use it a lot when I was younger

oh wow im fairly early on seeing this (7 hrs is early than a month later ksdjf), i got into tamagotchis last month and so far have a nature pix and pink smart! i love them both so far and have been enjoying them! im only running the pix currently.. despite me being like,, 22 i asked my parents to either get me the new comic shell remake and/or hopefully a ketai or suku! im super excited to get those later, i love the older tamas and definitely want one to have a change of pace from the color screen tamas

Just want to say those looking into japanese proxies I would not use buyee. Their fees are more expensive and they always end up giving me trouble. They don’t compact shipping unless you email them which will also make it so your packages aren’t protected by them anymore. I prefer to use neokyo or zenmarket.

I've been wanting to get my first meets tamagotchi, but I wanted to ask if its still usable nowadays? even without another tama meets and the tama app since the app has now been taken down now and since i dont have anyone i know that uses meets nor would i have any extra to use it with my tama meets im getting, will I still be able to use it properly? also i loved your 1 - 4 part series of this ♡ it was sooo cute!! and it was so entertaining and interesting to see all your pretty tamas you've collected during the years 🌸 good job and I wish you nothing but the very best :'> 💕

The Meets is definitely playable just by itself - you'll just have less variety of genes in your mixes. I enjoy mixing my pets on the app because you can get some really cool genes from other players around the world! I also know that there is a fan made app available now since the official app has been taken down, I think information on that can be found on Tamagotchi collector discord groups :) The Meets is very fun! But I must say I enjoy it most when connecting with more than one other devices.
