I’ve stayed in hotels specifically in the United States of America. I’m Canadian. Yes, the hotel ABSOLUTELY DOES call you. If you’re using your benefits package (or ANYTHING linked to the couple via emails, phone numbers and/or card on file) that is connected to a couple and an exorbitant amount of money is being charged to your room (whatever the “red flag amount” is for the hotel group) they will contact you by any means to confirm that you are the one making the charges. What could have happened, and I’m speculating, is the girl bought and booked services in her own name and they called Tamar to confirm the charges. That’s how she got the name and the amount of money that was charged. She could not just call a hotel and ask for names associated with an independent booking, made by that man. She, had to be linked to the reservation in some way.
