Im crying watching this yall haven’t seen it in so many years. Its so many things about it . The playful banter between her and her husband and her not wanting to sing, then “you tried it”, then her hitting the mic “its not even on” sounding madd nyc , then when she gives him that look while singing “if i gotta cry” which really says so much without words , and the way you can hear the band start to play better when they’re not just being judged but collaborated with, then when her husband gestures for her to stand up evidently so proud of his wifes talent, and then she rolls her eyes while shrugging her way to the mic stand all while executing flawless vocals. Meanwhile her song writer in the corner is grooving so hard d and overjoyed at the creation of his beautiful song coming together so beautifully. And when he mentioned how it was such a blessing for tamar to sing his song and he almost cried yall that’s when I started to cry!!! This means a lot to me as well cuz its my dream to one day perform with a band. Anyways thanks for reading my essay 😂❤
