The best thing about Witches’ Rock? It is the place that has brought my husband, Joe Marino, so much happiness for probably about ten years. He is always so excited when he books his twice yearly surf trips there. His health has improved since going there because he’s always working at staying in shape for his trip. He’s made so many good friends, not just at the camp,, but in town too. During the pandemic he has been connected to Some and has contributed to help them get through this time when so many have lost their jibs. Joe loves to help people and going to Witches’ Rock has allowed him to do that, usually by taking a 50lb box of supplies for schools in the area. Witches’ Rock: thank you! Thank you to Joe, Manny, Dena, J. Luis, Robert August, everyone who has shared their surfing and teaching skills, 5eir gifts of friendship with my husband. I know he’s looking forward to seeing all of you next March when he takes his annual birthday trip to you. Pura vida!

Seriously love hearing this Denise! We truly love Joe, he's one of our main amigos and it's amazing to hear that his health has improved, makes our heart smile! He also WON one of our Robert August surfboards a few years ago, and we are giving another one away again! Pura Vida!

Growing up as a skateboarder in the mid-west I watch Endless Summer 2.....a lot. Moved to the coast as soon as I turned 18 and learned to surf. Later in life I found Witches Rock Surf Camp. Great place. Great people. I even got to meet Robert August. You guys are great and make surf trips easy. 🤙

Best thing about Tamarindo is getting away without being away. You want authentic CR life, food, drink, waves, beer - you got it...you want to catch up with Monday PM football, you got it, you want to disconnect or connect you can do both...it's up to you....

Best thing I love about Tamarindo is that it is STILL on the horizon of my life. I booked it, was banned from flying there when the C-19 “Plan-demic” showed up, and now, I dream of the day I can FINALLY get out there!
