How To Convert Numbers From Other Bases To Base 10

To convert numbers from other bases back to base 10, you only need to two things;
1- Express the number in powers of it's base
2- Simplify, what you obtain is the corresponding value in base 10

It's not 4 multiply by 0, but 4 raised to the power of 0 From the laws of Indices any number raised to the power of 0 is 1, except if the number is 0
