thanks, I noticed this on another live performance…he’s singing along with a pre-recorded soundtrack and it’s seemingly unimportant-years ago, singing along with a pre-recorded track would’ve been an unthinkable…

Definitely they can hear they added live echo and reverb with the machine. Why would anyone think those sound natural? It's not auto-tune but still computer-assisted. Too much echo was added here.
