I'm not a fan of deli salads, but I do make them at home for my mom since she likes them when in the summer... It's definitely better and cheaper to make it if you can. 😄 And I make homemade mayonnaise for them too, which takes only seconds!

I don't like eggs in potato salad also I like pimento free sliced green olives in traditional style. I prefer dill potato salad made with red potatoes over it if I had the two side by side it's what I'd choose .

I love macaroni salad but I thought that was the worst tasting salad ever. I love all those flavors but it was a total miss. The potato salad I bought was not sealed and had spoiled - opposite of yours.

Reser's makes some good salads. A Deviled Egg Potato Salad & Macaroni Salad which are different. Also baked beans which are almost as good as my homemade ;-) They also have seafood, chicken, tuna and ham salads.

When I make my potato salad I tend to keep the potatoes firm. I hate mushy soft potatoes lol.

Tami, I wouldn't feel Self-conscious about looking snobbish comparing your homemade salads to those. Of course yours is 1000% better because yours is homemade and not processed and loaded with a million ingredients, mostly chemicals.

I’m not a fan of these types of salads. I got sick off potato salad so I can’t eat it, plus I am not a fan of mayo. I can’t do mustard base either. So these would be a pass for me. Thanks for a great review.
