Yeah what you are saying is absolutely correct and much needed to notice. These forcefully kept things ruin the content and experience. After watching Thunivu...felt satisfied and enjoyed watching Thala in like that character....manerisms & all after so many years after Mankatha but didn't felt as much fulfilled as in Mankatha. Even Thunivu touched such shade but wasn't even near to Mankatha like experience. Felt like even if Thala wanted to do such scripts but now his position and responsibility and other things etc, current situations isn't allowing him to do completely negative shade. In Mankatha the character of Vinayak would be carried with same weight and negative shade till the end, in Veeram as well even if he changes for his sister but on other side that negative shade and weight would be there. In Thunivu, even without changing the story line of spreading awareness to people through his plans live media still his character weight and shade could be maintained. In the course of time, it was lost in the second half, Daredevil's rage & characterization was 🔥🔥at first half and seemed like that fire was completely put off(characterization shade wise). That forcefully kept goodness felt contrasted contradicting for that Daredevil Kick@$$ Bad@$$ villain character. In Sathuranga vettai, the transformation of Hero from very to good person was very well pitched with perfect flow and transition, transformation. In Thunivu that was missed it was atleast better to that Daredevil as 🔥🔥Kick@$$ Bad@$$ character.

For example my cousin started crying after seeing a goat's head being cut. He was 6 years old then! The same thing happened to one of my other cousins when she was 8 years old in theeran movie! She closed her eyes in the first murder scene and kept her eyes closed throughout! This is why those scenes are cut rather than the reason that kids will get influenced!
