One need not be a sanghi to say wrong is wrong. What ethics are you talking if one constitutional body does not respect the other. Is there no respect for the constitutional head of the state that you don't allow him to speak. There is a protocol that if you don't agree with the the governor the state govt has its own way of representation. You don't insult him in the assembly. The govt that your speaking should know how the elected representatives behave in assembly. He is not opposition party to have debate and protest against the post. He has to maintain dignity of the post and he walked out. Iam sure reaching that high post in his career he knows that he has to respect the national anthem.

The whole nation and world are watching our democratic system and these type of incidents are happening what is our image globally. Elected representative should be wisely in the assembly when it is being addressed by the governor's. Moreover the governor is well within his rights to make recommendations to the government. Whether the government wants to accept it or not is secondary. It was a not a bill discussion that members protested in between the governor's speech. Astonishingly CM did not do anything to control his party members how is he going to preserve the sanctity of the constitution.

We had more shame when people called our country a rape capital of the world during the rape incidents etc. especially the Kathua, Unnao rape cases. We had more shame when bulldozers used to threaten the people who is protesting. We had more shame when the BJP party buys more MLAs after every election and mocking our Democratic values. I can list more, but you know what is the similarity in all these shame is it's the BJP's hands directly and indirectly. CM represents the elected government who run the state as per constitution, nobody is above the constitution framework including the Governor himself. CM has full rights to call for a resolution to delete the non-democratic speeches which were not prepared by the government.

if the Governor is to be a puppet in the hands of ruling party such a post is redundant and unnecessary drain of the tax payers money and a burden on the exchequer. So the constitution should be amended to abolish the post or clearly spellout the duties and powers of the Governor and elected reps. At the centre Rajyasabha which is a nominated body stalls and rejects any resolution passed by the elected members of parliament as if Rajya sabha has over riding powers. Similarly Governor nominated by centre should excise ample powers to control the misdeeds of any state government or else the post of Governor and Rajya sabha both should be abolished to avoid unnecessary confrontation & expenditure. There is the Ambedkar statue in Raj Bhavan which is well maintained and BJP govt cherishes Ambedhkar by opening many memorials for him - his house, abroad the place he converted to Buddhism all are now memorials created and maintained by BJP govt.
