Don't worry in most cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa etc have cold only for 3-4 months Dec to March. After that then no more cold weather. For Vitamin D its not a big issue so don't worry, if you want you can eat vitamin D candy which most people and its good for skin. But mostly u won't need because there is lots of sun in Canada during summer time

Don't worry about the weather because you can put a coat on for the winter time only 3-4 months. (December to March) then after that, it is very nice and hot weather. Medical Care is universal, so although it is mostly free people will have to wait a little longer for surgery and other things. But don't worry the medical care is much better than that of USA
