I felt really bad watching the climax….gouri married mani just bcoz the girls around her were crazy for him and she wanted to win him…she never went mad when he left her, instead was happy to marry another guy instantly…if her maid hadn’t committed suicide, she would have been married to the other guy…I don’t see any true love in her for her husband other than toxicity…whereas, jyoti was kind enough to let go her love…she teaches us love is not holding onto something for our happiness, but also letting go for others’ happiness….she is such a good character here…no wonder mani fell for her

Maturity is when you understand Gowri is the most innocent character in the whole movie. I'm Gowri and I understand why I became like her. It's the purest love you give to someone and they take you for granted. The possessiveness came from his ignorance towards her love and how he treated her. He never prioritized her over any women he met. He just gave excuses but still lied and was with other women whenever he got a chance like Jyoti. I see how Gowri has never been with any men before and after Mani. The second marriage was not her plan, but her mother's. However, it ended up worse.
