I feel like you didn't wait for the tablet to summon the tuso before you mounted, which made the pad disappear.. glad you force tamed it though. You definitely deserve it after all that. Gotta say, I have zero interest in that thing. Can't wait to see the Alpha Boss fight, the jim boat fight, and the start on Aberation!! wooooo

Also, you can't build an underwater base here from the alpha boss.. the underwater stuff comes from something else (aka dragon probably). I had to bring over my Island/Scorch character that is doing everything to reach max level in order to build my ocean base. I would say it was well worth it to truely enjoy the Center oceans.. but with aberration a few days away... eeeehhhhh

That is indeed frustrating. It would've been nice if the trust meter's progress saved rather than reset. Doing this all in one go is a bit overkill if you ask me, especially with all the hostile water creatures around that aggro over a mile away, making things more difficult

Great video 🎉. And very solid attempts. For the Morph Matching game you have to use W A S D keys to shrink, enlarge and rotate the shape. Looking around with your camera doesn't affect it at all nor does swimming direction. ( It says that under Hints / Objectives on the pad too) W - increases the size of the object S - Shrinks the Object A - Rotates it right D - Rotates it left For the Squid not spawning you put the pad away too fast unfortunately so it had no time to spawn it. Other than that I sat down to watch this video with a pen and paper and have a list of things I need to look into lol. Unfortunately As wildcard updates the game constantly, custom stuff like this tends to break over time because of their updates so it’s quite hard to keep ontop of keeping things working as expected.

Guys the Mod is really cool, I agree that the taming method is ridiculous but the developer put a lot of effort and work into the mod, I do think that he needs to fix up the taming method however because it was ridiculous but the creature is honestly really cool ❤

No judgement here about the tame, you totally deserved it with all the issues. Very cool taming method and it makes sense it's so involved considering how powerful the whale itself is but yeah more complex stuff just means higher chance for the game to bug it out unfortunately. Love the move sets the whale has and the attacks definitely feel like they have weight behind them.

Gosh this taming is bollocks. The creature is cool tho. With the Shasta, i dont think you could have checked its level even if you used the spyglass cause their hitbox is like inside of em. You have to get up close and personal for the level to pop up.

But I’m definitely looking into issues I saw in this video. Also, you aren’t forced to use this taming method. You can claim babies by killing the parent too. The pad is just for the experience and immersiveness. You can even configure how hard you want the pad to be in the admin remote provided in the mod.

The axeman if you see this don't ignore what I'm gonna say. There's a mod called 'no untameables" and basically untameable creatures in that mod is tameable! You remember how you said you wish you could tame the sea scorpion and nameless? Well with that mod you can tame them! Do note the nameless won't be out until aberration comes out. But! The deathworm IS tameable and you can ride it and it can come fully out of the ground! You need a deathworm trap which is what it's called than you find the one you want and lure it to the trap while underground and passively feed it 3 deathworm horns each. If you're on 2X taming rates you need 9 horns total and 3 traps for a high level. It will call for help when it gets in the trap and has a move that will insta kill you. You need a good thyla or something that moves fast and hits hard. Once tamed, it's very useful. They take no fall damage and can easily destroy rock elementals!

I sat in my chair: "Axe is gonna kill it, Axe is gonna kill it, Axe is gonna.. " Axe *Kills it* But i agree with you opinion towards the Mod. I think it's to buggy and im just no fan of the Livyathans model. I love the idea and its abilitys, but i dont like that one gets stuck in it all the time and i also dont like the model. I think its not delivering the feel of being a giant wale. It's very floppy, especially when sprinting. I think it would look way cooler if the animation were slowed down. I also wrote with the author underneath another video, that i prefer the Basiloaurus wale model. As its swimming speed looks way better in my opinion, cause i feel we actually move a body through the water. And swimming at the surface actually looks like a dolphin. But he has a different opinion towards that.

Honestly this is the worst taming mechanics I've ever seen in Ark so far.... All those dumb minigames make no sense in case of whale taming, it's just made to be frustrating and time consuming, nothing more added to that.... That being said, the whale is really cool and has cool abilities... Honestly I believe every or at least most ocean creature should be able to do such jumps...
