Theres not a charm for rider protection but there is a trait like the Colossal and Pygmy that you can get and a gene scanner you can make to see it on the wild dinos since Awesome Spyglass doesnt show them.

dont u have the s+ gun that lets u kill ur own dinos if so u can hatch a bunch of the wyverns or anything really then harvest the dead for hide instead of hunting around for them

Some creatures like wyverns get a raised level cap due to in vanilla you must hatch them and you won’t get the rain level boost.
