He’s a good character but not top tier lol there are almost ZERO successful bowsers at top level play both offline and online. Even Leon was struggling offline before covid. Hero is an exception yes but one person doesn’t make a character top tier lol

im not tryna stir up any drama with opinions here in the comments but just tryna remind yall that this hero bowser is argubaly one of the best wifi players in the world. the people hes beaten backs it up too. hes beaten tea more than twice now, rido, showers, rizeasu, ron, yoshidora, the list goes on. even if hes playing bowser... hes still hella talented at the end of the day to where he doesnt really need to prove himself offline when he has more than 35 tamisuma wins... big flex

Bowsers tools have finally become viable, but everyone knows his biggest buff is his change in run animation since Melee/Brawl lmfao. I play K. Rool so I love heavy matchups but Bowsers tools just outweigh the others aside from DK by a good margin. Having Tough Guy and his shell invicibility hitboxes also helps a lot.

He is definitely one of the best in the game, especially at any level of play lower than professional. The problem is that the right pro with the right character can combo bowser forever and reliably get easy kills on him, which makes it very hard for a Bowser to win a tournament. Plus there is a long standing belief that heavies can't be good in Smash, but Ultimate has kind of flipped that upside down.

@@jeorhan1262 It's not that heavies _can't_ be good in Smash, it's just that for the longest time the weren't. Before Smash 4, every heavy was given massive damage output, which is great, but also bad mobility, bad recovery, slow frame data, high landing lag, short combos, no escape options, big hurtboxes, etc. In Smash 4 they got a bit better, and only now have the developers realized that making a fast heavyweight doesn't automatically make them broken, just really good.

Man as a pac man main I can definitely say that at that last game, Tea.......just gave up. He must have been very salty because he just couldn't kill him (I would've been too) I've played this matchup and it seems like your doing a lot of damage just to get hit with a couple moves and die. If Tea faces Hero's Bowser again, he needs to be extremely patient while being able to react.

@@9Coronas as a Pac-Main uts probably even. Bowser can rush us down and tank through a lot of our setups and if we whiff one thing its over. Plus his landing options are really good. We combo him and just massacre him in disadvantage but Tea couldn't get anything started... imma be real, this was some of the worst play I've seen from him, letting himself get baited into that fair when trying to catch Galaxian and running into a bunch of stuff, like that dair on PS2. Not saying he's washed, people have bad days. What I'm saying is that he was playing less than his best in a surprisingly tough MU with no room for mistakes.

Too much going for him as a super heavy weight is a loaded statement because it implies characters in that weight class shouldn't be competitively viable. SHW already suffer the most out of all the weight classes in the game and by far have the worst MU spread. It's healthy for the competitive scene that a diverse amount of characters are represented.

@@ryngtolu4334 Not really, If the Bowser players plays incredibly agressive and controls both neutral and air game, he destroys Pac Man, LeoN vs Tea and Sinji are the best examples, Pac Man is a very technical character and is nothing if he doesn't have the Bell and Hydrant, which people who has experience fighting Pac Man can overcome and defeat him, I main Bowser and I can say is an even match up, but slightly in favor of Bowser because he can kill very quickly and is the heaviest character in the game .

@@nomado.3855 I can agree as a Pac-Man main that us can be really touch. When we get our advantage state started Bowser gets put in the blender but if we miss or make a mistake that's probably our stock. Pretty even but really really risky and unforgiving for Pac should any mistake be made. I do disagree that he is nothing without Bell and Hydrant tho. He has mad damage with Galaxian and all his Fruits work pretty well for him in this MU, plus great oos options and amazing frame data.
