Tamiya 1/12 Honda RC166 Racer - Part Five.

In this the final part the remaining parts are added to the bike to complete the build.
The front wheel is constructed the same way as the rear wheel ( I've not shown this process again) and fitting along with the front mud guard.
The fuel tank and fairings are painted and fitted and decals applied.
Using the detail-up sets from Tamiya from this bike really has made this a beautiful kit.

Your build was the inspiration for me to buy and build this incredible kit (though OTB with none of the extra bits). Truly one of Tamiya's best models ever, and you have dome justice to it! Couple of questions: 1. Instructions call for magnets to be used for attaching the small body panels. The kit contained the photo etched plates, but no magnets; did yours include magnets? 2. What red did you use? I decanted some TS-49 Bright Red but to me it looks a tad too orange. Thinking Gunze #3 might be better... Again, outstanding work and thank you for sharing!! PS: Recently completed the 1/9 Italeri (ex Protar) R80G/S. Not Tamiya standards, but an acceptable kit that builds up to an impressive replica. Have their Tenere 660 on order. Cheers!

@@NevboModelMaking Thanks! Requested magnets from Tamiya USA. Turns out I have X-7 in my stock, but decided the finish on the TS-49 looks so good, I didnt wantto chance messing it up!
