Tamiya CC-02 Unimog - My Thoughts

Had this for a few weeks but finally got it ready for a first real test run to see what its like.
Upgrades: Gmade Weighted Wheels, Proline BF Goodrich Tyres, HW 1080 ESC
55T Crawler Motor
I have the diffs locked with the low ratio gearbox

It is a very cool kit and one I have on my very long want list! I like the wheels you put on there and the tires looked good as well. The 1080 is a good call, I love that ESC and it is much more suited for a truck like this than the 1060 is.

Its a solid build Addam, the Gmade wheels are cheap and do the job too, I think the tyres and wheels are its weakest point but then again its the same across the industry on most standard kits I think sadly, I would happily forgo the light kit for better rubber or wheels. I think with a few tweaks it can be good fun and it looks the part too

thx, these wheels are Gmade weighted beadlocks with BF Goodrich tyres, best upgrade you can get from the standard wheels/tyres mate.

Thx mate, Yellow is hycote filler primer, rims are hycote oxide red the rims are pretty much same as stock size wise
