Looking good. When I forger to drill the supposed holes I take a flashlight and try to shed light from the opposite side if possible (in this case you could have used the opening behind the cockpit). The plastic is thinner at the location of the holes so it shines through and can easily spot where one needs to drill.
@MisterGsWorkbenchАй бұрын
@@nikosbr4691 that's a great idea! Unfortunately there weren't any areas that were clear enough to shine a light inside. I appreciate your suggestion and hopefully I won't have this issue again.

I’ve had a F14A (carrier launch) that’s been in my stash for a couple of years. I’m gonna have to bust it out as soon as I finish up my Tamiya Spitfire Mk lX so that I can follow along 😊

@@thorkane I just picked up another -A kit since my built one didn't survive the move. I'll get that one built down the line. Thanks again for your support!

Hi John, how do you get on with Tamiya masks in their kits? Noticed you used them On the Intakes. Obviously they’re not die cut so do you cut them on the line or just inside the line? That’s why I’ve never used them just incase I cut them wrong then they don’t fit hence I’ve just gone with an Eduard set. Good work so far on the Grumman Turkey.
@MisterGsWorkbenchАй бұрын
@@Zone5Aviation I've used the Tamiya provided masks on a previous Tomcat build as well as the 1/32 Spitfire. I cut on the lines and never had a problem with them. Thanks for stopping in!
