O my all the wires!! I am sure you will be able to put the speaker up front or in the back part.

I have two ideas. I'm gonna check Bob's channel first of course. But I think up under the hood or in the back like you say. If I have to I can remove the vibration module. Almost nobody uses it. And I got to check it out so it's not at all a loss. As for the sound and ligjts..lights... mandatory.!! Thanks brother Steve.!!

Yes sir this is where we start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, Really looking good Brian. But also REALLY glad that wiring is your problem. LMAO you can have it. Nah. but seriously a little patience and some time. We know you'll have that all tucked away nicely. Looking good bud. :)

That's pretty amazing that you have it all planned in your mind and how you want everything to workout. I sure I would still be trying to figure out the wires for the Grand Hauler at this point. Glad you shared this video giving me something to think about. Want to put lights in a few of my RC vehicles.💯💯💯💯💯💥💥🤜🤛

Lights are the best.!! Really allows you to make the project your very own. You can be subtle, or you can go crazy and have a mess just like this one here. But you have the opportunity to take a vehicle that many people have and make it your kind of special. Really appreciate the great comment my friend.!!

@@AMAZINGRC I can’t wait. If you’re gonna do a semi I feel all the lights are a necessity for the scale detail. We live near the worlds largest truck stop. I’ve seen some awesome rigs at the trucker’s jamboree, and in their museum. If you’re ever traveling I 80 through Iowa, and ya like big trucks it’s a must see.. you’ll figure out how to tuck everything away.. oh and since ya got a driver, ya need a lot lizard knocking on the truck door 😂

hey Brian, it looks late now to say? for LED's in my WPL type rigs, I used cheap or blown earbud wires have positive+negative in one very small diameter sheath. between the Y and the plug is usually joined one sheath or side by side double sheath (easier to work with) giving two pairs of wires. might be worth a re-do while its opened up? using it does cut the spaghetti factor in half.
@AMAZINGRC2 жыл бұрын
OH MY GOD.!!! Thats an incredible idea.!! And no it's not too late.! AND I have a ton of old headphones I can spare. I will be using this idea in some of this wiring for sure. Really appreciate the great idea my friend.!!

@@AMAZINGRC you're welcome and yeah it simplifies a bunch, one little hole to get it through something, littlest spots of hot glue keeps it tucked. also.. some 20 or 30 lb STREN monofilament fishing line works nice for fiber-optics.. heat shrink a bundle to an LED with some CA to really lock it down, drill tiny holes to glue the ends in place. once fully in place, paint outside white or silver, let dry and paint over in black (bottom of LED too)... better light conductivity and contains visible light leakage. nice for interior dashboard instruments, stereo, etc. the shorter the better for brightness of course. for other little projects... 3-4 fast slow blinking color changing LED's into fishing line can do cool things. for stupid bright headlights, 10mm LED's from flee-bahay, they pull about 3X the power of 5mm but more than twice as bright.. there's a pair in the MN-D90 and the Jeep Rubicon, video was daylight+shade but you can tell, in the dark they reach 20-25 yards ahead is nice on something fast.. but they'd be high beams from hell on that truck if they'll fit.

@@AMAZINGRC +20 years ago a friend did professional fiber-optic signs for stores, he was specific about using the STREN brand clear stuff for it transmitting the light best, good for 2-3 foot distance. carefully heat to mushroom+bead the output end before CA'ing in place makes a little bigger brighter dot, colored sharpies for red blue green yellow panel indicators, lots of fun visual details possible from just one 5 mm LED.. lighted steps to the cab? tiny . . . . . . . . pattern at the step corners? places without room for a 2-3 mm LED can get a few strands drilled into it instead. really easy once you start playing with it. with the slow-fast-color-changing use small capacitors gets them triggering off step to each other, to look more random. the sides of a box trailer could look like a Las Vegas billboard if you wanted to go crazy.. all powered by a single 18650 cell inside? same color changing LED in series to a colored one controls the normal single colored one, so each color section can fire independently, mixed in with the strands that are color changing.. stuff I found out about the LED's wiring them into pinball machines. a color changer plus a ultra bright white makes flashing white strobe action... it'd control solid color LED's same way for more fiber-optic color+blinking possibilities.. and its simple (but tedious!)

Two suggestions, instead of one connection to the trailer, maybe it would be easier to have a few. Then you could disguise the extra two as the spiral air lines that are on 1 to 1 scale semi's? And I havent seen this speaker, but maybe you could put it vertical where the radiator would be? Just a thought. God bless brother!
@AMAZINGRC2 жыл бұрын
Really appreciate that great suggestion.!! I think that your speaker idea is the way to go. Right behind the grille. And your wire idea is perfect.
