Great to hear the true levels of excitement in her voice at that glorious shell.... and even better seeing someone of that age taking an interest and having a go at building a kit- well done Miss! Most of that generation are not interested in anything like this anymore, they just sit in front of their tippy tappy screens. She's learning valuable skills there, I speak from experience as Ironically my first build at ten years old was also a CWO1 way back in 1988!!! Perfect entry level car into the hobby, and still one of the most fun chassis to run to this day. Great driving as well, a very clean lap for what is essentially the worst handling chassis for on a tight track! 🤣 👍 👍 👍 👍

Thanks my friend. It's often a battle getting her away from a screen for sure. Once we start building and getting into the groove of things it's all about fun time together. Need to work on cranking some steering into this thing...already looking at spots to Dremel...lol.

First time I've seen ANYONE used the proper JIS Vessel Screwdriver for Japanese screws! I wish I knew about JIS 35 years ago. Just got my first JIS drivers last year.....haven't used them yet though, lol.

The CW chassis is great. I have my first lunchbox since last year. Did today also some building with it. IAM trying for about 3 month more or less building hotwheels attack Pack Body out of pvc... Sadly the servo has difficult time opening the mouth.

My one kid has no interest at all...this one does (sometimes) lol. She likes to build stuff (always has) so it was pretty easy to get her involved.
