Nice kit, there is a huge following for these! Super cool you have had it tucked away for all these years!

Best feeling in the world opening a Tamiya kit it’s even better when it’s the 30th edition. To build or not build that is the question.

Great question, but, i don't think i can build it... I've hung in this long 🤣🤣🤣

@@tamiya_australia I can’t bring myself to build mine either maybe one day though once all the other outstanding builds are done.
@Richard1855Күн бұрын
@@expatAussietez I can empathise. I build scale models, have in my (sizeable) collection some rare kits, which are worth quite a bit; that I don't think I will ever build. Unless you are like one of us modellers, you will never understand 🤭

At 1:29 you read out 49400 and 75000 from the side of the box. It is actually ITEM 49400 in white, which is the TAMIYA Kit number and the 75000 in blue is actually TAMIYA’s RRP in Japanese yen, back when this kit was first manufactured. The same kit manufactured at a later date has 76800. Back then A$1 will buy you 100 Japanese yen. Today on ebay, this kit is fetching A$3,390…..just saying.

Nothing like the 30th. Hope the 50th lives up to it. Nice work.

I am building this and the white one now.. but i dont have the manuel of the 30th edition. Can u tell me what color code the orange on the front splitter is and how i do this correct? Thanks a lot! This is good stuff❤

Love your collection, wish I could afford something like you got. I am an Aussie as well. After you mentioned the kit number and the number after is another model number but I believe that’s the price in Yen.

Great stuff! I have the 45th and I don't see me doing anything with it for quite some time. I think the 30th came with a lot more goodies than the 45th.

Nice super rare Tamiya, I never knew Tamiya started the RC range in 76 thats the year I was born. So many nice Aluminum parts, I wish more kits came with them, bearing and oil shocks. Thats the biggest let down for me for most kits.

Hi can you solve a question I have a 1982 911 Porsche rally body shell and the rear wheel arches seem bigger than what is on the 934 body is that correct or is just an illusion. Wheels still 65mm dia Thanks
@tamiya_australia8 ай бұрын
Hmmmmm. What is the item number for the shell?? DM me on Instagram and I'll see if I can help you solve it 👍👍

You can’t call yourself “Tamiya Australia” if you’re not willing to say ‘Tamiya’ properly. Remember you’re an Aussie and not a yank. An Aussie imitating an American is akin to devolution. Stop it.

Hmmm.. Strange comment.. If you spell the name phonetically it's "Tuh-mee-uh" which is how i pronounce it.. That was told ti me directly from Head Office in Japan... Thanks for watchimg and leaving a comment 👍
