Not surprised but very glad to see the differentials are made of metal (including the housing). They should be able to take some true crawling abuse. Great step John. I always enjoy working with gears :)

Excellent work on these Diffs! 👍 Are you going to lock them?
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 7 ай бұрын
Hi Armin, thank you for watching and leaving me a thumbs up. I’m going to attempt to leave them in open state for the time being, but if I need to lock them, a simple screw pin, in through the axle housing, and we’re locked. A great design by Tamiya. Best wishes 🖐️😉😎

Great job John. But I've one question, are you planning to lock them or will they stay this way?
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 7 ай бұрын
Hi Dirk, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment. A very good question, I’ve opted to leave both axles in an open state, but I can easily lock them with the special screw pin, without having to take the axles apart, it’s a neat design feature of the axles. Best wishes😎😊😉

which threadlock do you use mate ?

@JF-RC 7 ай бұрын
Hi Dom, I’m using the blue Liqui Moly, don’t need much, it has a gel like consistency, so doesn’t just run out of the nozzle. Best wishes 😉😎😉
