Tamiya Scania with G.t.power truck container lighting and sound vibration system pro walk around

Walk around my tamiya scania , it installed a G.t.power truck container lighting & voice vibration system pro. It is a advanced system using mobile phone app . It can be control all functions on G.t.power kit.

Hello friend please help me.. These days i am building scania r620 blue edition truck.. I using gt pro eu version unit like your truck.. But my moter does not get full power when active coupler switch but i can Hear the coupling sound... So what will Be the reason?

Hi, so you are using pro version 60A , right? It may be a calibration between controller and the gtpower module. Or may be signal reverse. Or the controller end point. Basically need play around those issues. For me I am not 100% fully calibrated yet till now😅. Which controller you use?

@tamiyaniko8867 right, just do the calibration again. Make sure the control in 100% setting.

Hello.. I still got the problem.. I did calibrate the gt pro unit to transmitter but still have the problem .🙁. Does your truck motor increase the power when active the coupler switch?

Hi, this one is gtpower pro kit module, esc is built in the system. I believe your one is basic gtpower truck light module. You can plug in direct or esc i believe

Not Impressed Why do I need a cellphone to drive it. OK the Tamiya costs a lot more but is very user friendly with no cellphone. Until GT components get this to work properly ( and I have one!) Will carry on using Tamiya!

Absolutely right! I have my 3th one meanwhile. The first one worked correct until i blew it up by a bad sodering on the vibrationmotor. The wires came lose and touched the metal mount. The 2nd one went also fine ,until i did the stupid update to 2.8.2. Result: no warning lights, no blinking turnsignals anymore (just light up solid) The 3rd one even got worst. The lights can not even put on and off by the transmitter. Its a piece of crap and totally useless!!! Ok, its supposed to be cheaper then a Tamiya MFC, But the fact that i had to buy 3 of them…??? And in the beginning i contacted GT Power, and they tried to be helpfull, by tellin' me to update the firmware!!!!What the hell?? Its that same worthless update that already got me in trouble. Now i have contacted them already another 2 times… Guess what??? They don't even bother to answer me anymore. The app itself works sweet...But who needs this "technological marvel?" Its only a peace of sh*t. It only ruines the whole business, and the worst is that they don't even want to see it! In spite many people have complained about this issue. The Tamiya MFC's are wayyyy better.

I understand how you feel😅. That is the technology began. Just like a mobile need to update firmware every now and then. Tamiya is good but not enough for advanced model builder used. Now a few different company doing even much more advanced than big companies. Can't compare much. Just enough what you can and you have...enjoy rc modelling!

Well not sure because I am not well informed about both systems (just scrolled fast forward to see the vibration working) but I can imagine that when you install this and can dial in the settings you want on the phone you can leave it that way during the drive? The unit in the car will react to your tx input while driving etc. and this way doing special settings do not take extra channels from the tx?

Nicely done my friend............a bit complicated..........but your investment has paid off because everything works without the limits of other systems...........this hobby has never been cheap...........but buying stuff that works well is very satisfying...........nice truck............would be cool to see it pulling a trailer 👍

Thank you for your comment. Yes this hobby is costing 😅. But if you are a creative person then you may save a lot(DIY mods) and it is no limit. Are you building yours too? Enjoy it!
