What a good video! Nobody drives their Tamiyas like this on yt. The Top Force is a top 3 for me. The Optima Mid, Losi XX4 and Tamiya Top Force!!

Hahaha. Thanks brother. Ya I though I'd put the old designs through some testing. I actually got this car up to like 70mph after I turned it into somewhat of a speed run car. I have a video here showing it doing a speed run.

@@philthyco1 Yeah stock gearing. 5900kv motor on 3s. I have a video of my TT02b Dual Ridge doing 52mph. I actually did the speed run first before the bash. If you notice I have a gps strapped to the front at the start of my video. Problem is I used a new camera(DJI Osmo Pocket) and I held the camera up close to show the speed but it didnt focus and was blurry. So I need to re do the speed run.

Yeah it a cool looking buggy for sure. I kinda beat on it here and then I did speed runs and got it to 71Mph. But it's been retired to light duty now with a few war stories to tell the other cars on my shelf...lol. Nothing broke either which was surprising. Tougher than I thought it was. Hey Oliver. It's a Castle 7700kv 3650 sized motor. I bought it off Ebay from China so although it came in a Castle box and all I think it may be fake but I'm not sure. It's a good motor either way...Castle is made in China too. Thanks for the sub brother. I got you back. 👊😀🍺🍺

Hi, sorry not sure if I asked question in correct comment / thread. Superb videos 👏👏 just wondered which spur / pinion combo (or ratio) you’ve been using for Top Force bashing and speed runs? 😊
@KaizerTest4 жыл бұрын
I'm using robinson racing spur and pinions with the Tamiya high speed gear set/adapter...52 spur and 45 pinion will get you 90mph. You just need to dremel the gear cover so the pinion fits. Any more questions feel free to ask. I like helping guys go faster if I can.
