Nice build Mick, Thanks! On the centre chassis brace just be careful that the screw that go into the gear guard aren’t too long and damage the spur below.

Thanks Paul. I remembered what you said and checked it before that scene. I just stuck an Allen key down the hole and measured the depth against the screw, all was good, had 2-3mm left. 👍

Thanks Mick, I learn something each video you make. Very nice work, I've got to get one of these , there's not many of the real Skylines left. Too many idiots blew them up and wrote them off. Mate had one and of course he had too much boost and blew it up dragging my mates Charger then he spent another 20 grand on it and blew it up again. Was a real shame because these cars were fast and handle well. Was a mess when he sold it and bought an SS that he also wrecked. Will be good to see the upgrades and how fun this will be to drive.
@RCHobbyShed4 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, glad you get something from my videos. Videos like this I wonder if they're too long and boring. Oh yeah, the Skylines are disappearing pretty quick, too many wrapped around poles I think. I think this one will be great to drive straight out of the box but will upgrade anyway, I just can't have plastic drive shafts and pogo stick shocks. 👍

@@RCHobbyShed didn't even know about the liquid mask . Keep the videos coming mate can always learn something each time. Helps me a lot ,got the losi today, beautiful little kit and can see why they're not cheap. Will order batteries and a motor combo for it. Looks like they run 2s , will run 3s and use it for speed runs . Lucky there's plenty of videos to build these ,has a million parts . Very small buggy like a Tamiya so will be good fun. Have a good weekend mate Mick .

@@petergoodwin2465 Liquid mask is great stuff, only down side is it's long drying time. Always best to use a hair dryer or heat gun on it. Oh yeah those Losi's are top top shelf stuff! Should be fun on 3s, you might wanna stock up on tyres. You too mate, have a good weekend! 👍

Thanks! The box is approx L49cm W23 H15cm, but keep in mind it will be inside another box when shipped. The size of that box depends where you buy it from.

Great video, Mick! Love your attention to detail, it really pays off on a build, the end result is superb! I really enjoyed following along on this one, although I had a lot of issues with this video loading, and it kept stopping and spooling - hope it's just me! All the best, matey! :))

Thanks Mark. Hope it's only YT and not my video, it works ok from my end. Are you watching in 4K or 1080? If in 4K maybe lower the quality. If that doesn't work, I really don't know 😕. Thanks for letting me know mate, I'll look into it! 🙂👍

Hi Mick. Loving your work. Would you consider doing a video build on a Absima 12222kit? There's not much showing on KZbin and what is out there isn't much cop. I think it would keep you entertained for an hour or two. From what I can see they're a bit of a puzzle. Anyway, keep up the good work!
@RCHobbyShed4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Marc. I would really like to do a build video of the 12222! I'm sure sure when though as I can't afford to buy one right now and they're also kind of hard to find. They do look like a great buggy and I've put it to the top of the "to buy" list. 🙂👍

yeah i just finished this build , after cutting out all the decals i decided to do it as a street car and it came up 100% better lights and all ill post it to FB once its 100%finished mick - so much for my box art , this means ill have to buy a shell and do it just for that reason otherwise it will bother the &#$% out of me lol , i tell you what though im so happy with the look of the way i brought it up alloy wheels , street tread tyres , chrome oil shocks and home made front and rear light buckets-(Plastic Alloy looking) just used the inside of mini torches from the $2 shop worked out great :-)
@RCHobbyShed4 жыл бұрын
Awesome, will be great to see it. I've seen a couple with alloy wheels, they do look great. The light buckets make it more realistic too, can't wait to see it! So far I've cut my decals but haven't started putting them on yet, I'll just stay box art with this one. Will prolly do the decals on the weekend. My red paint for the mirrors seems to be lost in the post, so I'll have to contact the shop on Monday. It's been "ready for processing" at Auspost since the 14th of September.
