@@robbrennanrc damn stickers especially the red and blue. I think 5-6 hours would not be far off. Finally done now to run.

Great step by step build series. I found this watching Lunchbox videos but I’m considering getting this now instead. You made it look easy so hopefully some one like me, who it’ll be my first car, will be able to build.

Ahhh - the end of a great series mate! She looks stunning - can't wait to race ya!!!! ;D

Cheers dude.I can't wait either. Still haven't managed to take it out yet, not even to check the steering. Not that there's any adjustments I can make other than the trim on the transmitter lol. I'm sure yours will be as good and probably better.

Nice job! I really like your paint job on those disc brakes. Looks much better.

Thanks man. Yeah I thought it needed something. The problem is Tamiya made all four identical so on one side of the car the vent lines are backwards. Thanks again and hope you are having a lovely weekend

Looks brilliant Rob. Be very interesting to see how the two Deltas perform side by side. Mark's XV01 is obviously a much more complicated kit and it will be good to see if it improves the performance compared to your TT02. Good work mate !

Very nice. How did you get the decals to fit around the wheel arch extensions without creasing?
@robbrennanrc4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bob. In those situations I use a hairdryer to warm up the decal to make it more pliable.

😃👍BEAUTY I love mine! I got a aluminum steering set up and the weak point is the front steering spindles I got the part in aluminum also. You should look at my delta videos I think I show some little mods you can do to it to make it better.

Hay Steve. Been having a look on your channel but not found one showing mods for the LDI. But it does look good in the snow. will keep on looking. Cheers for the comment and hope you have a great weekend.

come to think of it I did not have a video showing what I did... I put the parts I spoke of on there and i recall doing something to allow for some more rear suspension travel because the front seamed to have more or something.
@ShenRC6 жыл бұрын
Hey I took a look at my delta...if you notice when you put the car chassis on a flat surface the front rides higher than the rear...what I did is grind down the bump stops on the ends of the rear A arms that hit by the knuckles and it lets the rear suspension drop down further and gives you more travel kind of like the front.

Thanks Steve, will have a look when I get a chance.

Is the red grille-striping done with a paint marker? - Or with masking tape and brush? Tamiya should pre-cut their stickers...! Greetings from Düsseldorf!
@robbrennanrc4 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend. The red was done free hand with a brush and no masking. I have had some Tamiya kits with pre-cut stickers but ended up cutting them out anyway due to the amount of excess. Thanks for watching.

Hi Rob, did you paint the rear wing with the PS paint? Im thinkng in buying this body shell for my TT02. My shell is the subaru impreza 99 and im wondering if I also have to buy the URETHANE BUMPER. Do you know if the its the S size for the Lancia Delta? Thank you.
@robbrennanrc4 жыл бұрын
Hi Marcos. As the wing is already white and only a small part I didn't bother painting it. From looking at my video and build manual the bumper is possibly the one for the TT-01 chassis Tamiya part number 51007. Hope this helps.
@MarcosFlores-qe4ry4 жыл бұрын
@@robbrennanrc i think it's the standard model in the manual because it's the same reference that appears in mine. Seeing your video I saw that it might be smaller than my TT02. Thanks Rob

I was a bit disappointed they hadn't gone to the trouble of making a left and right set so the vents all lined up in the same direction, but it is what it is. Many thanks for watching.

Rob Brennan RC what do you use in your differential? I used the grease in the kit but I’m having some loud clicking noises from the diff and I don’t think the standard grease would work.
@robbrennanrc5 жыл бұрын
Hi. I use a high temperature automotive grease most of the time, but for this one I used the supplied grease but I packed a lot of it in filling up any gaps. Hope this helps.
